Laser yourself

Not as difficult as you think! The only thing you need is a laser license. You get permission to laser yourself by taking part in the instruction course for the respective device (costs: €20 for club members €30 for all others). There are two laser cutters with different requirements to choose from:

Zing

🆕 Is ready for use again after the tube has been replaced

The little one, our ZING, is as easy to use as a computer printer. In about 2 hours you will be shown how to use the device and what you need to pay particular attention to.

You can do the introduction at any open electronics and laser workshop (see program), or on demand by mail.

Laser saur

The big one, our DIT-LASER, requires a little more training time. But it also has more power and a cutting area four times as large (120x60cm)!

To get to know and understand the "Lasersaur" properly, however, you need to bring a little more time with you. After about two to three evenings, you will have completed one or two projects with us and know the important switches and tricks. After that, you can slowly venture into your first project with our support. If that's not too much for you, let us know that you want to become a laserjedi.

Cost calculator

The interactive cost calculator is currently being revised, but in the two graphics below you can already see the variable price per minute and the resulting development of costs depending on the milling time
